Brad K. McAfee

In the past 30 years, Mr. McAfee’s career path has involved three specific areas with a common direction. Whether leading people of faith (ministry), training financial professionals (mortgage protection) or meeting with a philanthropist (development), the challenge has always required an ability to create a climate for change. Whether the ultimate goal involves monetary funds or human capital, he is equipped to successfully extend an organization's need to those in a capacity to fulfill it.

Prior to joining Fisk University, Brad worked in development at Crowley’s Ridge College and Harding University. While his current position is major gifts, his competencies include planned giving, leadership development and alumni relations. His broader skills involve networking, mass communication, market research, strategic planning, public speaking and staff allocation.

Brad’s daughter, Becca is a math teacher. During the 2012-13 school year she taught in China at Wuhan Polytechnic University. His son Josh and wife Kristen and their son Jude live in Jackson, Tennessee. Josh is VP of Marketing at Leaders Credit Union.
